Chicken shimla Mirch recipe by The cozy plates
Here's a simple recipe for Chicken Shimla Mirch:
Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken
- half cup oil
- 1/2 kg Shimla Mirch (capsicum), diced
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 Tomato or tomato paste/puree
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- Half tsp turmeric
- 2,3 Green chilies
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste until golden.
2. Add Tomato mix well then add salt,red pepper and turmeric cook for 5 minutes.
3. Add chicken and cook until it changes color and oil separates
4. Add Shimla Mirch and and green chilies and Mix well.
5. Cook until the chicken is tender and Shimla Mirch is slightly crunchy.
6. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rice or roti.
