Restaurant style Dal mash recipe.

Ingredients:

1 cup Oil

2 medium chopped Onion

2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste

3 tbsp Tomato paste/puree

1 tbsp Crushed green chilies

Salt to taste

Red pepper to taste

Half tsp Turmeric

1 tsp Coriander powder

1 tbsp Garam masala at the end

 Half chicken cube (optional)


Instructions:

 Add oil in pan heat it up then add onion and fry it for 2,3 min then add ginger garlic paste mix well add few drops of water then add crushed chillies tomato paste cook it for 5 min then add spices (salt, turmeric,red pepper)

Mix well for 5 min then add 1 glass of water and add soaked lentil (dal mash soak for 1 hour)

Cook it for 15 min then garnish it with coriander leaves and garam masala powder.


Tips

. Creamier texture: Mash the dal lightly with the back of your spoon before serving. 

. Optional: Skip the chicken cube for a vegetarian version. It still taste great.
