🍳 How to Make Dhaba Style  Aloo Methi

1. Prepare the Methi:

Wash the fresh methi leaves thoroughly to remove dirt. Chop them finely and set aside.

2. Cook the Potatoes:

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they sizzle, add sliced onion and sauté until lightly golden.

Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for about 30 seconds.

Add the cubed potatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.

3. Add Tomato:

Add chopped tomato and cook for 3–4 minutes until the tomato softens and the spices coat the potatoes.

Cover the pan and cook on low-medium heat until the potatoes are almost tender. Stir occasionally.

4. Add Methi:

Add the chopped methi leaves and mix everything well. Cook uncovered for 5–8 minutes until the methi is tender and the potatoes are completely cooked.

If the mixture looks too dry before the potatoes are cooked, add a small splash of water.

5. Final Touch:

Sprinkle garam masala over the aloo methi and give it a final mix. Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
