Stop perfectionism

I decided to explore this important topic with my friends asking about girls' experiences and stories of perfectionism and after that, I receive many responses from people who face this pressure of perfection. Here I would like to highlight a few points.

Perfection culture is made by humans, not by GOD. So, don’t be serious about this matter. And not feel that you are imperfect.

You are perfect and you know it better than others. So don’t compare yourself with others. Everyone is valuable. No one devalues valuable things and peoples.

Don’t be afraid of being different, be afraid of being same as everyone else.

Surprisingly, the need for perfection puts a lot of burden on our life. People took perfection as being attractive, body shape, weight, hair color, and many more. Complexity is a basic problem of perfection.

Furthermore, the study reveals that women are not perfectionism, they are pressurized to be perfect.

Some women told that they face perfectionism both in the workplace and also in a family gathering. 95 percent of women experienced this pressure and that pressure mentally disturbed them all the time.

Pressure from society:

Nowadays society sets a high standard for a young age to be perfect like stereotype body shape degree, skin color. Appearance related social pressure plays an important role in developing negative thoughts of people on body image.

Girls are more affected by this pressure than men. Social media and celebrities also play an important role in spreading appearance issues in society.

People don’t get it, that pictures of slim models their clear skin, and perfection in their appearances all that gets from makeup and editing. It’s also difficult for them to get clear and flawless skin all the time.

Humans are not perfect and don’t bethink that anyone is 100 percent perfects, a flaw is natural. Different shapes, colors, and body make differences in people to differentiate between different beauties.

People need to understand nobody is perfect in this world. Everyone has his quality.

Sign of feeling pressure to be perfect:

Feeling pressure to be perfect can show it in many different ways and I thought I must share these signs with you all so that this might help you to overcome this pressure of perfection.

• Take criticism on the heart.

• Hide your parts because you think it's weird.

• Comparing yourself to others.

• Degrading yourself.

• Feeling bad good in gathering.

• Giving importance to people's negative compliments on you.

• Avoiding new or creative work because you’re scared, you’ll fail and you look stupid.

If you did find these signs in you so please stop comparing yourself. People's negative compliments on you just show their mentality their way of thinking.

Their compliments are irrelevant so don’t give importance to them.

Pressure isn’t supposed to break us, it’s designed to make us.

How to overcome this pressure of perfection is as follow:

• Start doing small things

• Work for progress, not perfection

• Stop comparing yourself to others

• Remember nobody is perfect in this world

• Your imperfection makes you perfect

The biggest challenge of life is to be yourself in a world that is trying  to make you like everyone else.

From younger age we’re all influenced and pressurized by the society by so many things that actually difficult to tell. Now stop being a people pleasure it’s so painful. Live a life that you design for yourself not live a life that designed by others.

Do whatever you want to do, do what’s make you happy. Ask yourself what you truly want.

Take some steps to change people's mentality and be yourself and promotes natural thinks and don’t promote perfectionism. It’s better to walk alone than with a crowd going in wrong direction

Perfection is the enemy of progress.

Be the first to express your thoughts❣

Depression

Written by: Nayab Blogspot: pareshy.blogspot.com   Depression is a monster That destroy the both heart and soul It tortures without mercy And consumes its victims It cripples and disables, Making life too hard to cope. It can make each day a nightmare And leave a person without hope. Depression can be nurtured Through violence and neglect And fists used only to degrade And words used to reject. It's hidden in those bullies Who torture and demean, Who use their words like weapons To destroy all self-esteem. It's fueled by those substances, That are used to help escape. From that endless pain depression brings And that unbearable heartache. It can cause someone to just give up, To lose all strength to fight. It can desolate one's very soul And make them take their life. Yes, Depression is a bloodsucker. That will make anyone its prey. There is no one who deserves it, And there is no one to blame. We don't need to make a judgment, But we
