Chocolate moist cake recipe by The cozy plates

 Here’s a classic chocolate cake that’s super moist, rich, and perfect for any chocolate craving! 🍫


Ingredients:

- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 3/4 cup cocoa powder

- 1  tsp baking powder

- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 1 tsp salt

- 1 cup sugar

- 1 cup brown sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 1 cup whole milk

- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

- 2 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 cup boiling water


Instructions:

1. reheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two -inch pans.

2. Mix dry ingredients flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar.

3. Add wet ingredients: eggs, milk, oil, vanilla. Beat until smooth.

4. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour into pans.

5. Bake 30-35 mins. Cool and frost.


Simple chocolate frosting:

- 1 cup butter, softened

- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

- 1/2 cup cocoa powder

- 1/4 cup milk

- 1 tsp vanilla
