How to Fry fish at home recipe by the cozy plates

 Here's a simple and delicious Fish Fry recipe that's super popular in Asia😋:





Ingredients:

- 500g fish pieces 

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/4 cup cornflour

- 1 tsp red chili powder

- 1 tsp garlic powder 

- 1 tsp ginger powder

- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

- 1/4 tsp black pepper

- 1/2 tsp turmeric

- 1 tsp garam masala powder

- 1 Lemon (juice)

- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes (optional, for some heat)

- Oil for frying

Marination:

Add lemon juice and salt in fish and mix well and rest it for 1 hour.

Steps:

2. Prepare coating: In a bowl, mix flour, cornflour, chili powder, ginger,garlic powder, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

3. Coat & Fry: Coat marinated fish pieces evenly with the flour mix. Heat oil in a pan and fry fish on medium heat until golden brown and crispy (about 4-5 mins per side).

4. Serve hot: Drain on paper towels and serve with chutney, raita, or a squeeze of lemon!
